Chief Minister Wildlife Rescue Force

The scheme titled “Chief Minister Wildlife Rescue Force (On-Going Scheme)” has been launched to strengthen wildlife protection, rescue, and rehabilitation services across Punjab. The primary objective of the project is to establish three state-of-the-art Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Centers at Safari Zoo, Wildlife Park Pirowal (District Khanewal), and Zoological Garden Loi Bher (District Rawalpindi). The initiative aims to enhance provincial wildlife rescue and rehabilitation capacity through the development of efficient rescue protocols, improvement of mobile wildlife veterinary services, and expansion of public and volunteer participation. By integrating modern facilities, trained personnel, and community engagement, the scheme seeks to ensure timely and effective responses to wildlife emergencies.

The final outcomes of the project include significantly enhanced wildlife rescue capabilities, improved response efficiency, and the establishment of modern facilities for the treatment and rehabilitation of injured or endangered wildlife. The scheme will contribute to capacity building through trained staff, strengthened community and volunteer involvement, and increased public awareness and education regarding wildlife conservation. In the long term, the project is expected to generate a lasting positive impact on wildlife conservation while ensuring improved and sustainable mobile veterinary services across the province.
