Digital Enumeration of Linear Plantation in Punjab

The Digital Enumeration of Linear Plantation in Punjab is a newly approved scheme for the financial year 2025–26, with a gestation period extending up to June 2027. The scheme focuses on strengthening digital data collection and monitoring of linear plantations across the province through advanced geospatial and surveying technologies. The scope of work primarily comprises procurement activities, including the acquisition of a Laser Scanner (LiDAR), high-precision handheld GPS devices with power banks, desktop workstations for LiDAR data processing, and measuring tapes, while no civil works or recruitment components are included at this stage.

With regard to the status of tender documents, the Finance Department released funds for procurement vide TSG-231 dated 10-10-2025; however, the funds have not yet been reflected online at the DDOs level. The standardization process related to procurement has been completed by the Standardization Committee, and the minutes of the meeting were issued on 03 October 2025. The tendering process for the procurement of the Laser Scanner (LiDAR), high-precision handheld GPS devices with power banks, desktop workstations for LiDAR data processing, and measuring tapes has been initiated, and the date for tender receiving and opening has been fixed as 31-10-2025. Upon availability of funds online, the procurement process will proceed accordingly.
